Story
Hi there!
My employer, Alliance Airlines, is a proud supporter of Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) and in April 2022 we will be embarking on a three day, 400km charity ride from Margaret River to Perth.
Born missing my right hand and forearm, I am not the greatest cyclist and have never ridden a road bike. Therefore, to ride safely in a team, at speed and over a long distance is going to be a challenge. However, given the cause, I won't let that stop me participating. It will take training, dedication and hard work. Regardless, this is not about my efforts as they are nothing compared to what those diagnosed with breast cancer experience.
I have witnessed three of my Aunties suffer through breast cancer and thanks to medical developments and the support offered to them through BCNA, they are still with us today.
BCNA work tirelessly to ensure that all Australians who are affected by breast cancer receive the very best of care, treatment and support.
Alliance Airlines goal is to collectively raise $150,000 for BCNA. My personal commitment is to raise at least $2,500. Please help support BCNA by making a secure online donation and by posting messages of support. Any donation, big or small, will be greatly appreciated and will go towards providing a better journey for all Australians affected by breast cancer.
Thank you.
Jay
